Reporting to the Operations Director, this newly created position will have significant autonomy in identifying and developing commercially viable packaging solutions requiring extensive film extrusion and lamination development knowledge.

In order to deliver products that lead the way in terms of food packaging while delivering on performance requirements , you will need to have a strong background in food science as well as an ability to translate customer requirements into technically suitable film and laminate specifications. You will be adept at wearing several hats, including driving projects from initial conversations with clients through to product development, design and commercialisation.

To be considered for this position you will have a relevant Degree in Chemical, Mechanical or Polymer Engineering, or Food or Materials Science and a track record in providing similar services in either the packaging or food industries. Ultimately you will be a self-motivated and with strong attention to detail and professional communication skills.
