About the opportunity
RPV, MTIA is seeking to engage a Network Planning Analyst, to work within Rail Operations Planning team to support the Department of Transport and MTIA in the development of operational plans and strategies. These plans and strategies will enable network and project requirements to be developed, which provide direction and clarity for project development and design. The Network Planning Analyst will work across the project lifecycle, from planning and development, through to implementation and benefits realisation. Working across the Transport organisations, the ability to build, maintain and influence working relationships across a range of stakeholders is essential. The role calls for a creative thinker, with attention to detail and the ability to think strategically. Previous experience of developing transport network plans, timetables or rosters is highly desirable.
About you
You will be a highly focused and driven person who is passionate about contributing to the delivery of public infrastructure, working within a high-performing planning team to drive exceptional outcomes. You will be tertiary qualified in a planning, engineering or social science discipline and/or have extensive relevant experience, working within large projects, or transport planning organisations. You will enjoy a fast paced, performance focused workplace where you will have the opportunity to work autonomously and develop your career.
