JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Manager, Strategic Investment, the Senior Policy Officer contributes to whole-of system thinking and delivering important initiatives related to forecasting demand for children and families services and coordinate strategic investment in the sector to reduce demand and improve outcomes for vulnerable children and families.

The Senior Policy Officer undertakes data analysis and modelling and contributes to a range of initiatives critical to delivering strategic reform, budget strategy and social investment directions across the children and families portfolio.

  • A team player with who uses new ways of thinking and innovative approaches to improve the way the system delivers supports are delivered to vulnerable children and families?
  • Able to build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders and collaborate effectively to achieve outcomes for children, young people and families?
  • Highly organised with excellent communication, planning and problem-solving?
