Fixed term, Part time (12 month contract)

About us:

Stawell Regional Health (SRH) employs approximately 300 staff and provides a broad range of acute and sub-acute health, community programs and residential aged care services to a population of approximately 12,000 residents across the Northern Grampians Shire. This diverse range of integrated health, community and residential aged care services is provided from modern facilities and supported by a cooperative team of health professionals and visiting specialists.

About the role:

The health and wellbeing of our staff is important to us, we believe workplace health is not just about health education, it's about fostering supportive environments, building personal skills and organisational resilience, enhancing positive social conditions, and promoting healthy lifestyles and workplace policies. To deliver on this we are looking for someone who can implement a framework based on this theory, so we can support and improve the wellbeing of our team members each and every day.

This brand-new role will be responsible for developing and delivering a health and wellbeing program against an agreed framework, coordinating activities across the organisation and monitoring and reporting on their effectiveness.

About you:

We're looking for a passionate and driven individual, who thinks outside the box, to join our leadership team in this 12-month, project-based role. You'll have tertiary qualifications in relevant Social Sciences, Human Resources or a related mental health field, with experience in a similar role. Most importantly, we're looking for someone with exceptional interpersonal skills, who can connect with team members at all levels of our organisation, understand the challenges facing our diverse team and work on strategies to improve wellbeing and organisational resilience.
