Online Insurance Sales Specialist (2 roles) - AM&T | Location - Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane

AM&T works with a large network of brokers nationally to deliver consistent, sustainable insurance risk solutions for our broker partners and their clients. The AM&T team works on marine risk across cargo, carriers, commercial hull and marine liabilities.

As an AM&T Online Insurance Sales Specialist you will be responsible for managing the renewal and new business quotes for eligible risks. Working with a designated panel of broking houses, you will provide a responsive and accurate service to generate profitable growth in your portfolio. You will continually strive to “be the Benchmark” in our sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accept new, renewal and endorsement business in accordance with guidelines.
  • Provide recommendations and help execute the AM&T online/ automated strategy.
  • Participate as part of the Online Team contributing to implementation of the AM&T company strategy.
  • Contribute and collaborate with the Sales & Distribution Manager and implement initiatives which improve the effectiveness of automated business.
  • Fulfil sales plans to achieve financial metrics, retention, target conversions and strike rates.
  • Understand customer insights and implement actions to continuously improve the Broker experience.
  • Participating in underwriting reviews and audits and ensuring development and knowledge sharing goals are achieved and correctly undertaken

Important to your success:

  • Knowledge of the Australian insurance market, industry practices and governing legislation.
  • Ideally established relationships within the general insurance broker groups.
  • Strong relationship management capability, strong communication skills and customer focused work ethic.
  • Demonstrated skills in the analysis and interpretation of complex information from a broad range of sources and ability to present findings in a clear and compelling manner.
  • A commercial mindset with the ability to make independent decisions in line with AM&T priorities.
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills, capable of communicating with audiences at all levels.
