What you’ll do as a System/ Administrator (Linux):
  • The System Administrator role will be administering and maintaining a significant number of systems including a mix of both Windows and Linux Operating systems as part of a Level 2/3 support team.
  • Services will include system maintenance, application monitoring, customer incident management and hardware deployment.
  • As a member of the team, you will take on tasks to ensure the Uptime, Security and Performance reliability of the environment.

We're looking for House Mates:
  • With a minimum of 5 years industry relevant experience.
  • Experience with maintaining enterprise operational environments.
  • Experience with at least one in each category below:
  • Linux (Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS) based operating systems.
  • Virtualisation platforms (KVM/XenServer/VMWare/OVM).
  • Automation & deployment technologies (Ansible/Salt/Puppet/Chef).
  • PostgreSQL and/or MySQL Administration.
  • Apache and/or NGINX Webserver.
  • Monitoring platforms (Zabbix/Nagios/Opsview).
  • TCP/IP Networking and DNS including DNSSEC
  • Proficient in at least one scripting language, preferably Bash and/or Perl.
  • Basic experience using Windows Server and Hyper-V.
