The Role
The PTA has an exciting opportunity for recent graduates, or students who graduate this year, with a major in mechanical engineering to join our graduate program in February 2022.
Our Graduate Development Program is a two year program, with permanent appointment on successful completion of the program, offers you comprehensive training and on-the-job experience, along with the opportunity to work with the people responsible for delivering our world class public transport system. By rotating through our organisation you will have the opportunity to work in diverse business areas with access to leading-edge technology. Areas of rotation could include Rollingstock, Track, Overhead Line Equipment, METRONET and Major Projects.

To apply for the 2022 Graduate Development Program applicants will have:
- Completed a relevant Bachelor degree recently, or will complete by the end of 2020
- Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
- A current CV
- A copy of your most recent academic transcript for all relevant qualifications
- A written application addressing the following selection criteria as per the Job Description Form (JDF) in no more than two (2) pages

(4) Organisation
- A completed Integrity and Qualification Consent Form (attached) as all PTA positions are subject to ongoing integrity screening.
Applicants who are short listed for further assessment will be asked to undertake psychometric testing. Course Weighted Average Marks (WAM’s) and psychometric testing results will be assessed as part of the application process.
