About Us

The Intensive Support Service renamed KEYS: "Keep embracing your success" is a pilot project funded by the Victorian Department of Health and Human services. The Intensive Support Service is comprised of a collaboration between the DHHS, two community agencies as partners and Monash Health. The Out of Home Care Intensive Support Service is an innovative 18-month collaborative initiative, between non-government community agencies, Monash Health and the Department of Health and Human Services, for young people in the 13-16 age range presenting with serious emotional and mental health disturbance, and related problem behaviours. These young people may already be in Out of Home Care, or are at risk of breakdown in their family based care.

About the Role

These specialist clinical roles will provide a holistic assessment and therapeutic approach drawing upon current evidence based mental health and systemically oriented interventions that flexibly use elements from a range of therapeutic treatment models.

This role will suit you if you enjoy working in a partnership framework with other agencies. The role will require you to provide high quality provision of ELMHS interventions, primary, secondary, tertiary consultation in addition to high quality provision of therapeutic support to the ‘system’ around the young person in a collaborative and reflective partnership with other involved agencies.

We have an outstanding opportunity for one 0.8 senior mental health clinician who has appropriate qualifications in social work, occupational therapy, speech pathology, psychology, mental health nursing in addition to qualifications in family therapy to join the intensive support service. You will work closely with our partner agencies and with the consultant psychiatrist for KEYS.
