We are seeking suitably qualified Registered or Enrolled Nurses to join our dedicated COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic. These casual positions are available immediately until the end of September 2021 with possible extension. The successful applicants will work within the COVID immunisation team to deliver a safe and effective service for the mass delivery of the COVID-19 vaccine. The nurses will be responsible for providing timely and well organised support to the immunisation team during the reconstitution and administration of vaccines and the post vaccination phase of care.
Key Selection Criteria include:
Essential:
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse with Medication Endorsement and no practicing restrictions
- Current BLS certification
- Completion of compulsory emergency authorised workforce COVID training modules or willingness to complete
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Desirable:
- Minimum three years clinical experience
- Experience in an Acute area preferred, but not essential
