Client care is extremely important to us to ensure clients leave feeling relaxed while being extremely satisfied with their salon service & results. We are seeking an experienced and qualified Hairdresser to join our team.

Job type: Full-time, Permanent.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assess different hair conditions and styles and provide advice on hairstyles and hair maintenance
• Cut, colour, style, provide treatment, straighten, or create curls on various hair types
• Use various hair dyes and chemical solutions
• Shave facial hair
• Shaving and trimming beards and moustaches
• Answer calls, organise or cancel appointments, and handle payments
• Promote and encourage clients to purchase hair care products

Experience

• At least an AQF Certificate III (and 2 years work experience) in hairdressing or AQF Certificate IV in hairdressing
• At least 3 years relevant hairdressing experience

Skills required:

• Experience in cutting, colouring, and styling hair
• Must be honest and reliable
• Ability to work under pressure, with fine attention to detail
• Be an exceptional team player
• Communication skills and customer service skills

Annual salary package: $55,000 plus superannuation
