HOURS: 48.0 hours per fortnight

DEPARTMENT: Consulting Rooms

An experienced administrator is sought to join our Medical Consulting Rooms team in this new role. If you enjoy data entry and have an excellent attention to detail then this is a great opportunity to gain a permanent role with East Gippsland's largest employer. 

The Position:

In this position, you will provide administrative support for health data entry required in our Consulting Rooms.

The role will be responsible for the transfer of data from hospital IT systems to allow successful data submission to the Department of Health. This roles requires effective liaison with key personnel, Consulting rooms staff and efficient use of relevant databases and systems.

The Department:

The BRHS Consulting Rooms provide visiting outpatient services to a large number of Medical Consultants. This service allows the general public an opportunity to receive specialist medical services in close proximity to their place of residence and local health care provider.

Key criteria you need:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in an administration role
  • A self-starter that is solution-focused and with a proven capacity to problem solve within the scope of the position.
  • Proven experience in administrative and clerical systems including file and record management, document formation and electronic data
  • Proven capacity to work in a fast-paced environment with highly developed time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet competing priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Well-developed computer skills with demonstrated and extensive experience in the use of Microsoft Office applications particularly MS Word, Excel and Outlook and fast and accurate typing
