Nido Early School Craigie are a newly built Early Education service with premium facilities available. Our Leadership Team consists of motivated, engaged, and extraordinary individuals with experience within the childcare sector providing you with great support throughout your journey. 
The service is committed to building meaningful relationships with the children, families, and extended community. 

What the person in the role looks like

You love being supported to prepare nutritionally balanced and appropriate meals for all children and the service.

As an experienced professional, you know how the health and safety guidelines and ensure your kitchen adheres to food preparation and servicing areas as specified in the National Quality Standards.

You know how to consider all individual dietary requirements and allergies, manage stock and placing food orders efficiently through communicating effectively and being apart of the team.

Most importantly you enjoy sharing your passion for cooking with the children.

The ‘Credentials’

  • Previous experience working in a Kitchen with multiple dietary requirements, working within an early education setting is advantageous
  • A Valid Working with Children Check
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Kitchen and Hospitality qualifications are beneficial but not essential

Who is Nido?

The Nido collection of early schools for children first opened in 2014 to provide families with a new standard of Early Childhood Education and Care. The word ‘Nido’ is Italian for ‘nest’ (pronounced neeh-doh) and was inspired by the educational project of Reggio Emilia' philosophy in which our services are founded on.
