The Inside Sales Account Manager (IAM) is a phone based sales representative responsible for selling the company’s products or services to both existing customers and new prospects within a defined geographic territory. The IAM is part of Intuit Quickbooks Australia's world-class Sales organisation supporting the Small Business & Self-Employed Group (SBSEG), responsible for expanding existing commercial relationships and building new relationships with Accountants and Bookkeepers in Practice to generate customer and revenue growth for Intuit through mutually valuable long-term relationships. The Intuit Quickbooks IAM has a working knowledge of the organization’s products/services, identifies customer needs and determines optimal company products & services to effectively address those needs. This person also helps identify and resolve customer concerns by coordinating access to the appropriate resources. The IAM is customer obsessed and enjoys nothing more than helping Accounting and Bookkeeping firms thrive.

What You’ll Do

  • Win the hearts and minds of advisors (accountants + bookkeepers) by establishing relationships and building rapport
  • Manage a territory of existing customers, and partner closely with them to continue to grow the share of QuickBooks within their firm
  • Plan how to meet and exceed your targets through consistent activity and effective pipeline management
  • Be consistent with the daily management of your territory
  • Educate clients and prospects on the value of Quickbooks Online through explanation, demonstration, and collaboration
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to delight our customers

What you’ll bring
  • A desire to work in an organisation that wants the best for customers
  • Some experience meeting or exceeding sales targets with the phone as your primary means of Ideally in the software or financial services industries with a focus on account management or retention
  • We’d also love to hear from finance or accounting professionals with a passion for sales
  • Phenomenal interpersonal skills, plus self-motivation, tenacity and a ‘can do’ attitude
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to confidently present to external partners
