The company:

Vidaura is in partnership with Four Frogs creperie, which is one of the highly rated French restaurants in Sydney. They are looking for talented Chefs to join their busy team.

The role:

At Four Frogs, they care about offering the best experience: they believe details are particularly important and almost everything is homemade they mill their flour, they make most of their ingredients themselves and all their preparations are cooked according to the French tradition, including sauces syrups and much more).

  • Full responsibility of the kitchen’s daily operations 
  • Creating menus and developing new traditional French recipes
  • Dealing with providers (with an eye on costs)
  • Ordering supplies and managing stocks in collaboration with the restaurant manager
  • Implementing and monitoring HACCP procedures and Health & Safety processes
  • Rostering
  • Training staff in French Crepes making and retaining staff for all Four Frogs restaurants (crucial in this role).

To be successful you’ll need to have:

  • Advanced diploma in hospitality or equivalent 
  • Good understanding of the financial constraints of a restaurant business 
  • The right person will need to have experience in a similar Crepes restaurant and be experienced and confident in the kitchen
  • Strong previous experience as a Head Chef/Chef (5 years)
  • Strong previous experience in French crepe making
  • Experience in French cuisine and especially in crepes making will be needed as training of kitchen staff will require this specific knowledge
  • Enjoy training and passing on your knowledge
  • French speaking is a plus
