This is a unique opportunity for a skilled Loan Verifications Officer to join our growing team and hit the ground running.

Salary: $55,000-$60,000

Responsibilities include:

  • Support the organisation by analysing information and data, and providing advice on business and organisational methods
  • Manage the processing of customer information and data to produce information that can be used to contribute to enhanced business outcomes including greater efficiency
  • Review and analyse customer data
  • Assisting to collect and process customer information to prepare comprehensive reports
  • Verify and validate that all regulatory and lending policies are adhered to
  • Ability to comprehensively analyse bank statements & application financials
  • Assess and perform application loan serviceability checks as well as ID and Fraud verification
  • Ensure compliance with NCCP, RG209, Privacy Act and AML/CTF
  • Help contribute to process and policy improvements within the company operations
  • Develop, organise, manage and maintain records and information libraries within the company

Skills, Experience and Qualifications Required

  • Experience in consumer lending is preferred
  • At least two years’ experience in a relevant field required
  • At least a bachelor degree or equivalent qualification preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Sound working knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements for consumer lending
  • Highly organised and adaptable to change
  • Strong communication and analytical problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work autonomously
