Manage and triage reports of non-compliance, and contribute to compliance assurance programs

Your new company
This organisation is responsible for regulating the quality of health products throughout their lifecycle to ensure they continue to meet an appropriate level of quality, safety and performance. Specifically, this high performing area manage and triage reports of non-compliance with advertising, import, manufacturing supply and export of health products, and are seeking experienced Compliance and Investigations individuals to join their team.

Your new role
Within this position your duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Undertake investigations into allegations of non-compliance in relation to specific Legislation and Acts
  • Draft and issue official correspondence, accurately applying the law
  • Manage internal and external relationships including liaison with industry representatives and other stakeholders to bring advertisements into compliance with the advertising requirements
  • Apply lawful investigative methodology to identify and record information and evidence from relevant sources and entities
  • Prepare investigation reports or briefs of evidence for submission to legal providers or the Commonwealth Department of Public Prosecutions
  • Attend Court, Tribunal and alternative dispute resolution proceedings as required
  • Maintain sound records and information management approaches, and contribute to procedures and systems development
  • Conduct recorded interviews and obtain statements suitable for Court proceedings (if required)
  • Prepare Executive papers and briefs, and present at case management briefings

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this position you will be an experienced Compliance or Investigations officer, and demonstrate the following:

  • High level of integrity, and strong communication and organisational skills to manage competing priorities
  • Knowledge, skills and experience in the interpretation and application of legislation in compliance or investigatory settings
  • Advanced written and verbal communications skills, with the capacity to convey technical information in a clear and concise manner
  • Exercise sound judgement, a high degree of initiative and discretion in dealing with confidential and sensitive business matters.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others and build productive relationships to achieve results in a busy, fast paced environment.
  • Ability to work in a consistent and systematic manner with minimal supervision.

To be successful in this position you must currently hold, or be able to obtain, an Negative Vetting Security Clearance.
