Group Recruitment Sessions

If you are interested in experiencing OES first-hand, come along to one of our upcoming Group Recruitment Sessions! This is a great chance to put yourself forward for a variety of roles within our vibrant Student Operations Department, a team dedicated to supporting students throughout their study journey. 

We will be running two Group Recruitment Sessions for a variety of roles within our Student Operations department. These sessions will take place on Tuesday 20th April (9:30am - 12:00pm & 1:30pm - 4:00pm)

The roles:

Exams Advisor

The Exams Advisor is responsible for the administration and general support to students for all exams. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting processes for the efficient and timely scheduling of distance mode examinations, verification of examination requirements and delivery of examinations.
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with external examination venues and supervision providers.
  • Responding to all Student queries in relation to Exams via email and phone.

Student Services Advisor

The Student Services Advisor is responsible for a range of functions contributing to the effective enrolment and on-going administration of our students. Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring that all enrolments meet the necessary admission and selection criteria including assessing previous qualifications, visa requirements and course specific information.
  • Ensuring accurate assessment and processing of all student functions across the life cycle of their course including enrolments, exemptions and course changes.
  • Providing on-going enrolment support to students and staff regarding fees and course advice.
  • Ensuring the accurate recording of student information using the student management systems.

Student Advisor

The Student Advisor is the first point of contact for students via phone, email and web chat. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing students with general academic advice, emotional support, technical assistance as well as enquiries relating to courses and University processes.
  • Providing end to end administrative support throughout the student journey, from enrolment through to graduation.

Please note, in order to apply for the Student Advisor role you must have completed a degree (minimum Bachelor level).

You must also be available to work shifts across the following hours:

  • Mon-Fri 8am-9pm (AEST), and weekends and public holidays from 10am-6pm (AEST). Penalty rates apply for weekends and public holidays.

All three roles are full-time, initial 12 month contracts (with a view to permanent).
