Lead a small team of Counsellors & manage the operation of sites & clinical services in the South East region.
Your new company
This Not-For-Profit organisation provides counselling, mental health and educational programs for families and individuals. Due to growth they are currently looking for a Regional Counselling Manager to provide clinical and operational management for the South Eastern region.
Your new role
Reporting to the Executive Manager, you will lead a small but growing team of counsellors and provide site management to a number of sites in the region whilst maintaining a small clinical caseload.
You will be responsible for;
- Provide day-to-day leadership, performance management and clinical supervision to counselling staff.
- Contribute to service work plans, recruitment, budget development and administration.
- Coordinate student placements and workforce development.
- Provide counselling to individuals, couples and families.
What you'll need to succeed
- A current qualification as a Mental Health Professional (Social Work, Psychology, Nursing, and/or Occupational Therapy or other like professional qualification.
- Eligibility for membership of relevant discipline professional body.
- Experience in management or team leadership.
- Experience working with children, people who use family violence and/or victim survivors is highly desirable.
