The role

Reporting to the Head of ICT, this full-time position will join the ICT team in providing new and innovative applications and integrations, whilst changing and improving the working environment for our staff, customers and suppliers.


In this hands-on role you will support the conceptualization, development, implementation and management of in-house software and systems, becoming a subject matter expert within the organisation.


Eager to diversify your technical ability and build your business acumen, you will have exposure to both internal and external stakeholders, and their applications, being keen to work at the forefront of new technology.


With a continuous improvement mindset, you will be solutions focused and enjoy seeing the outcome of your work – which will have a visible impact within the business. Given the opportunity to build-out Minimum Viable Products and explore new ideas, this role has endless opportunities.

Duties

  • Provide training and support to front-line staff on custom software, as the internal subject-matter expert
  • Develop and coordinate new API orchestrations to be consumed by internal and external applications
  • Provide master-data management for select in-house platforms
  • Design, develop and enhance automated reports for internal and external stakeholders
  • Produce and maintain technical and end-user documentation
  • Resolve coding issues, develop additional features and bug-fixes as required
  • Write and maintain Unit Tests for internal codebases

Skills & experience

  • 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Python (or similar) scripting
  • Knowledge or interest in learning mobile application development
  • HTML/JavaScript responsive web design
  • SQL database table design and queries
  • Superior attention to detail
  • Strong written & verbal communication
  • Energy, drive and passion to build lean and innovative solutions. We are looking for a ‘self-starter’.
  • Team player, collaborative
  • Excellent time management and organisation skills
  • Ability to multitask & prioritise
  • Ability to work well under pressure
