THE OPPORTUNITY

The Childcare Assistant is responsible for the care and education of a group of children as part of a team in conjunction with the team leader. IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO
  • Nurture children’s learning and well-being in accordance with current theories and industry practice
  • Ensure all necessary duties are completed in required time frame
  • Prepare nutritious food in accordance with correct food procedures
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED
  • Certificate III in Community Services or Childcare
  • Demonstrated ability to relate well to children
  • Sound communication skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of child development
  • Demonstrated ability in providing balanced and varied food for children which meets the appropriate nutritional guidelines
ABOUT YOU

You will have a passion for nurturing and stimulating early learning. You will have experience in planning and preparing food in an early childhood setting.

You will enjoy working in a team environment to meet the needs of the children and their families, who utilise the facility.

Salary: $58,485-$67,970 per annum plus superannuation
