The Opportunity
Our client is a public practice accounting firm based in the southern suburbs of Brisbane with an outstanding reputation. They are currently seeking an efficient bookkeeper to join their bookkeeping division. This role would suit an experienced bookkeeper with the ability to multi-task. You will be working closely with three other bookkeepers to provide a client focused service.

Duties and Responsibilities
This role will require you to provide a full function bookkeeping service to a portfolio of clients. With a strong focus on client service you will regularly meet with your clients face to face. You must enjoy client contact and have the ability to build rapport and maintain effective relationships. Your duties will include the following:

Accounts payable

Accounts receivable



Journal preparation

BAS preparation

Preparation of accounts

You may also be required to train clients on Xero so experience in undertaking this will be highly regarded.

Requisite Skills & Experience
Previous experience within a similar role is necessary (minimum 2 years), and you must be competent using Xero, MYOB and Quickbooks. Excellent communications skills and presentation are essential.
Any relevant qualifications would be highly regarded.
