6 month fixed-term, full-time opportunity

About the role

In this unique role, you will have the capability and experience to facilitate training delivery and resources to meet the needs of our business using appropriate adult learning delivery styles.

You will ultimately have the responsibility for leading by example, demonstrating the benefits and the value of developing a positive learning culture.

As a seasoned facilitator, passionate about training and development, you will have the opportunity to participate in the assessment of demographical training goals and implement appropriate adult learning tactics to overcome barriers to learning.

Reporting to the Quality and Compliance Manager, you will engage, motivate and provide ongoing mentoring and feedback to staff on their training progress, supporting them to achieve their goals.

You will be enabled and encouraged to think and perform things differently, also supporting and undertaking other duties within the Governance group as required.

You will be required to be available for travel and stay overnight for up to 5 consecutive days in locations throughout Queensland.

About you

You will possess a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment with at least 6 months systems training experience. You will also be prepared to travel fortnightly between Monday and Friday to our regional sites throughout Queensland.

You will have the demonstrated ability to work under limited direction with minimal supervision to achieve desired outcomes. You are a forward-thinker, always using your intuition, and we welcome your ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently, prioritising work, managing your time effectively and efficiently to meet set deadlines.

With a confident communication style, you have the proven ability to think on your feet and proactively find solutions to issues as and when they arise.

Enthusiasm and the ability to form relationships with a wide variety of people are important assets to have, and you will possess the ability to identify customer requirements, alter services in response to identified needs, and evaluate customer satisfaction.

Your qualifications and experience should include:
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or its successor)
  • Experience coordinating and delivering training across a diverse range of occupational areas
  • Current Driver’s licence
  • Ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and life experience
  • Availability to travel within Australia
  • A commitment to positively meeting the training needs of persons from diverse cultural backgrounds and a genuine desire to succeed.
