eHealth NSW has exciting new opportunities for achievement focused Capability Managers to join the Program Delivery Directorate. Throughout 2021, Program Delivery will move to a new way of working with the implementation of a centralised operating model that will see discipline-based teams formed and led by dedicated Capability Managers. These management roles will be hired progressively as the new operating model is established over the next 12 months.

Program Delivery is leading the way in grouping together in the new Program Delivery Capability Practice which includes five distinct Capability Areas housing resources with similar skillsets and deployed to projects to support the delivery of high quality services centred around our customers. Not only will it contemporise its workforce, it also offers many benefits to both eHealth NSW and our highly skilled specialist staff. The five Capability Areas which sit under the new Program Delivery Capability Practice include Business Analysis, Solution Architecture, Testing, Change and Adoption, and Program and Program Management.

As the Capability Manager you will be an experienced people manager who will be responsible for collaborating and partnering with leaders, to optimise the deployment of our resources as well as establish clear development pathways for individuals in their Capability Area. You will inspire and manage the performance of the Capability Area staff to continuously improve and develop their capabilities, enhancing the overall workforce as specialists in a Health Information Communication Technology (ICT).

This role will be responsible for developing the discipline as a centre of excellence and ensure consistency of innovative standardised methodologies and tools across the Directorate.

To be successful in this role, you will possess the following skills and attributes:

Ability to lead a high-performing specialist Capability Area, utilising proven leadership competencies to deliver organisational outcomes.

Experience in all aspects of organisational learning, building organisational capability, knowledge management, performance development and fostering an aligned eHealth NSW workplace culture.

Exceptional engagement, collaboration and communication acumen, with the ability to influence across multiple stakeholder groups.

Qualification or experience in Program Management and/or experience in managing people in a complex environment.

Highly developed stakeholder management skills with the ability to build relationships at an executive level.
