AMSA is Australia’s National agency responsible for coordinating maritime and aviation search and rescue. As the Aurion System Administrator, you will apply specialist knowledge and analytical skills to manage the administration of the Aurion HRMIS system.

This role will see you troubleshoot system processes, provide technical advice and support, produce complex reporting and resolve system and payroll issues. You will also be required to maintain integrations with numerous 3rd party systems including Finance One, Service Now and SAP Concur.

In this role you will manage system upgrades, security profiles and liaise with both internal and external stakeholders. You will also develop and maintain ESS forms (including Business Process Automation).

Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, you will be integral to the success of the Aurion system administration and be part of a results driven and customer centric team of professionals.


To be successful in this position, you will have a minimum 2-3 years’ experience in an Aurion System Administration role dealing with complex industrial arrangements, along with experience managing a small team.

Your knowledge, understanding and experience in delivering system related enhancements will be key to your success.

You will have comprehensive knowledge and understanding of relevant Commonwealth legislation related guidelines and policies particularly as they apply to payroll, HR data and HR reporting systems.

You will be a natural promoter and influencer, with an ability to engage and network with a variety of stakeholders. You will possess strong presentation, written and verbal capacities and you will be technically qualified.
