  • Provide support to Brand Manager in the development of marketing plans
  • Compile & manage sell reports highlighting commercial wins and watch outs
  • Provide administrative support in managing marketing expenditure ensuring business tools are utilised and invoices paid on a timely basis.
  • Provide team with support for strategic business planning process.
  • Work with Brand Manager in developing & implementing brand plans which encompass strategic brand direction, key objectives and initiatives, promotional programs and quantitative performance measures.
  • Provide support to manager in working with the Business Unit, account managers, area managers and merchandisers to maintain marketing support for products and brands at retail.
  • Keep abreast of trends and new competitors in the toy market, ensuring Mattel stays aware of competitor brand activities, licensing programs and new entrants.
  • Working with Brand Managers and Marketing Managers to ensure direction given to you is clear and understood, asking questions for clarity
  • Showing initiative to expand the role and capabilities
  • Tertiary qualified in either marketing, business management, economics, or other business related discipline
  • Between 1 –2 years marketing and office experience preferred.
  • Expressing yourself and communicating effectively and articulately will come naturally.
  • A disciplined and results orientated professional, you value follow through and take pride in delivering.
