JOB DESCRIPTION

Like any good market leader, Metricon has evolved and diversified the business to a point where we now need a Marketing Assistant to support the Marketing Manager, 3 Brand Managers, and an Event Manager.

This role is (somewhat) based on the Gold Coast (with some work from home flex), as part of a brand-proud marketing team of 10 who have responsibility for the QLD and Northern NSW region.

In addition to the 5 roles you will support, there are 4 in-house creative designers to bring our strategies and tactics to life, a separate team of marketing services professionals to collaborate with across owned and earned channels, plus external agencies for paid channels. A great opportunity to get into the engine room of a brave and market leading business.

Reporting to the State Marketing Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Updating weekly data on sales leads, display traffic, online advertising
  • Ordering brochures and other items for display homes
  • Updating information and files on internal and external online portals
  • Drafting content for websites and brochures
  • Ordering promotional merchandise
  • Coordinating a social media calendar and content pipeline
  • Coordinating a database email calendar and content pipeline
  • Coordinating display home POS materials and zone configurations
  • Assisting with events including display home openings, seminars and activations at Metricon Stadium
  • Assisting with award submissions including coordination, research and content
  • Coordinating an internal communication calendar and content pipeline
  • Engaging stakeholders for information on products and services within marketing projects; and
  • Supporting the Marketing Manager and team administratively

  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing or a related discipline advantageous but not essential
