Turramurra Music is one of Australia’s leading professional audio and musical instrument suppliers. We are seeking an experienced and highly driven individual to join our growing phone/online sales team.

As a member of our phone/online sales team you will play a key role in driving ongoing growth of the business through the provision of outstanding levels of customer service and the development of high quality website and other digital content.

Key responsibilities:

· Assisting customers with the purchase of musical instruments and audio equipment, primarily via fielding incoming phone, email and website enquiries including:

o Providing product advice and responding to product-specific questions

o Taking and processing payments via online portals (e.g. PayPal)

o Providing customers with stock availability information

o Supporting basic product troubleshooting via phone / email

o Providing customers with website support (e.g. payments, transaction issues etc)

o Liaising with other internal staff to fulfil customer requirements

· Processing orders placed via our website including physically collecting stock, placing backorders for out-of-stock items, liaising with suppliers and communicating with customers as needed to fulfill orders

· Website maintenance including:

o Creating and updating web content (listings) via CMS as directed

o Assist with online marketing and social media activities as required

· Assisting with overflow in-store (floor) sales in peak periods where required

· Other activities as required to support the effective operation of the store

Skills / Qualifications:

· Customer service skills with experience in responding to incoming customer enquiries via phone and/or email

· Specialisation in one or more of the following areas:

o Music Technology (studio recording, keyboards/synths, software)

o Musical Instruments (guitars, drums, brass & woodwind, PA equipment)

· Tertiary qualification in one of the above fields would be an advantage, or equivalent professional experience in a related field

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills with very high level of attention to detail

· Ability to multitask effectively and work well in a fast paced and high-pressure environment

· Experience in maintaining websites and / or developing website content via a CMS (e.g. Magento) preferred

· Teamwork skills and ability to work well with others to deliver excellent customer outcomes

· Sense of ownership and ability to work innovatively to resolve any issues as they arise

This is a 5 day per week role with Saturday availability preferred (Saturday opening hours 9:30am - 4:00pm).

Salary: $53,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year
