Digital Marketing Specialist

Title: Digital Marketing Specialist

Reports To: Head of Operations Fix Auto

Location: Brisbane, Australia

Reporting to the Head of Operations, the Digital Marketing Specialist will support planning and execution of a wide range of marketing activities across digital channels, including supporting search engine optimization and social media campaigns. The role will responsible for executing on the company’s digital marketing and social media strategy to increase brand awareness, audience engagement, drive website traffic and conversion as well as franchise growth and development.

As the Digital Marketing Specialist, you will thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment. You will have the technical knowledge, strong collaboration and influencing skills and a solid understanding of how to design and execute innovative digital media campaigns, as well as create and curate compelling content with the goal to advance the Fix Network’s brand as an industry thought leader.

You will work in partnership with cross functional team members, franchisee businesses and the global corporate marketing team to create and implement social media marketing, digital advertising, search engine optimization and search engine marketing campaigns, analyze ROI and ensure the effectiveness of these campaigns in meeting business objectives.

Job Duties

  • Engage with Fix network franchisees regarding Fix Network digital marketing and social media strategies.
  • Establish and manage digital and social media marketing relationship with Fix Network franchisees including implementation and utilisation of Social content platform (Sprout social)
  • Provide advice and guidance to Fix Network franchisees, sharing trends and best practices to help them measure, improve and optimize their digital marketing and social media efforts.
  • Create engaging content for social media platforms, including management of a content calendar, determining the right content experience for the target audience on each channel as part of a holistic content marketing program.
  • Make recommendations on which audiences, formats, and social media platforms to be explored to maximize reach and efficiency.
  • Analyse, recommend and implement improvements on all website and social media channels, using data collected in partnership with internal stakeholders.
  • Manage online reputation across all platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, GMB and LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Communicate with followers – engaging in conversations taking place about our brand and answering questions
  • Support paid media campaigns including execution of SEM, paid digital and affiliate marketing initiatives, including development of compelling content and creatives.
  • Work collaboratively with global and local corporate team members to develop relevant content topics to reach the company’s target customers, based on brand themes, and driven to achieve Marketing goals
  • Create monthly reporting for social media competitive analysis, best and worst performing content and analysis, engagement rate, follower growth, website visits, and ROI.
  • Support global corporate marketing team with SEO strategies, onsite optimization and link building activities for the purpose of increasing organic keyword exposure for website traffic.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in digital media, communications, marketing or a related field
  • 3-5 years direct experience in SEO/SEM and social media marketing with demonstrated knowledge of marketing principles and practices
  • Demonstrated knowledge of digital media platforms e.g. LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter etc. and experience with Facebook Business Manager and the Google Marketing Platform
  • Experience with marketing automaton solutions and data management platforms a plus
  • Highly effective project management, prioritization, multi-tasking, and time management skills to meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to grasp business concepts
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills.

  • Effective communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization


Work conditions

  • Some travel is required.

Experience

Required
  • 3 - 5 years: SEO/SEM and social media marketing
Preferred

Education

Required
  • College Diploma/Certificate or better in Marketing or related field
