Reporting to the Regional Manager the purpose of this role is to provide a high level of service to customers to facilitate the clients purchasing experience.

Your duties and responsibilities include:
  • Set sales goals, track progress, and lead the team to achieve and exceed those targets
  • Coach salespeople on best practices for closing more vehicle deals and provide advice and guidance to improve sales performance
  • Initiate and maintain relationships with potential clients
  • Convert enquiries (instore, web and phone) into leads and opportunities
  • Take customers on test drives and demonstrate vehicle features
  • Collaborate with team members on marketing events, sales campaigns and promotions
  • Forecast sales for upcoming months and quarters
  • Coordinate and lead all regular sales meetings with the sales staff
  • Manage the CRM platform to retain customers and seek out new prospective sales
  • Maintain a strong focus on the satisfaction of all customers
  • Compile regular reports for management to review
  • Be reliable and must be able to work a rotating roster across 7 days, including public holidays
  • Meet set targets and KPIs set by management including test drives, conversion rates, sold deals, and deliveries
  • Attend to other duties as required

To win this role you must possess the following:
  • Diploma qualified or higher
  • Prior sales training qualifications ideal
  • 5+ years of automotive sales experience
  • A proven track record of closing deals and retaining customers would be advantageous
  • Experience in luxury products an advantage
  • Track record in following sales process and achieving sales targets
  • A professional appearance, friendly manner, and positive attitude
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong customer service and negotiation skills
  • A passion for sales and customer satisfaction
  • Intermediate computer skills including windows and Microsoft office
  • Knowledge of inventory control and management
  • Understands and follows processes
  • Loyal
  • Very autonomous
  • Sense of ownership – takes on this site as their own
  • Valid Full Australian Driver’s License
