About the Team
The Customer Strategy and Technology (CST) Division leads the development of long-term, multi-modal strategies, plans and policies across NSW. The Technology and Innovation Branch within CST, are leaders in the field of digital transport and payment platforms. We leverage data and insights, implement new technologies, drive innovation and build partnerships to provide customer-centred solutions.

The opportunity

Right now, we have two Business Support Officer Roles available on Permanent Full time basis.

What you will be involved in:

  • Reporting to the Senior Business Coordinator but partnering with an Executive Director, you will manage the coordination and provision of a broad range of high quality business and administrative services to support the operational efficiency and effectiveness of the section.
  • You will manage information flow to and from the Executive Director in a timely and accurate manner. You will also be responsible to format information for internal and external communication – memos, emails, presentations, reports.
  • You will source advice, conduct research and collate and compile information to support analysis and enable informed decision making. Contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and innovation through the assessment of business systems, process and procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness

About you

With demonstrated experience and expertise in providing high level executive support and administrative services, you possess excellent time management and organisational skills coupled with well-developed calendar management and complex problem solving capability. Resourceful in your approach to overcome challenges and seek information, you will be a high performing collaborative and autonomous worker with excellent communication and an ability to build rapport easily.

Familiar working in a complex environment with competing demands you will be confident in your ability to triage priorities, take direction and navigate a broad scope of work to support the Technology and Innovation Branch.

Possessing a high level of business intelligence as well as an ability to learn, retain and streamline business processes, you will have a well-developed understanding of how the organisation works and be an active contributor to business as usual activities. You have advanced skills across the Microsoft Office Suite and competency using Equip (SAP).

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is Grade 5 ($83,402 to $91,744) per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.
