About the opportunity

Joining our busy team, you’ll manage the full project delivery life cycle for a range of projects and will primarily be responsible for:

  • Developing and sourcing effective client relationships 
  • Managing relationships with other key stakeholders including statutory authorities, consultants, contractors and end-users
  • Assisting with the procurement of consultant and contractor teams
  • Managing client meetings and documenting project communications
  • Tracking and reporting on project deliverables, budgets, resourcing and timelines
  • Managing project documentation including preparation and issue of contract instructions and correspondence
  • Overseeing and coaching Assistant and Junior Project Managers 
  • Successfully delivering high quality project solutions from inception to handover and ensuring client satisfaction 

About You

As an experienced client-side project management professional, you’ll thrive in a role that sees you building and managing your own client relationships with ease and confidence while delivering first class outcomes.

You’ll also need to have:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in project or construction management, engineering, architecture, quantity surveying or a relevant post graduate degree
  • 7+ years’ experience in the industry of building design, construction and infrastructure
  • Strong client-side project management understanding coupled with local Melbourne market knowledge
  • Outstanding planning and organisational skills
  • Enviable communication skills - written and verbal
  • Commercial acumen and the ability to build strong relationships at all levels

Government, Sport and Education sector experience and Greenstar professional qualifications will be well regarded
