JOB DESCRIPTION

The purpose of the P&C Adviser (L&D) will coordinate the development and implementation of L&D programs throughout the firm, whilst working closely with the P&C team across other areas of the employment life cycle.

This role would suit someone who specialises in Learning and Development, but would also like to get involved in HR Generalist duties.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the L&D program of the firm in line with EVP and Firm strategy
  • Establish training needs within the firm and develop and implement relevant training programs
  • Update and maintain capability matrixes across teams and roles
  • Oversee the administration of all L&D systems and processes, including the development, maintenance and updating of training material and records
  • Manage the annual CLE and CPD training calendar, holding legal staff accountable in ensuring their requirements are met
  • Manage and facilitate new start on-boarding inductions and training
  • Facilitate training material as required, as well as source and support subject matter experts to facilitate internal training programs
  • Lead and manage the annual Law Graduate and Clerk programs life cycle
  • Manage and provide advice on internal L&D policies and controls
  • Manage coaching and mentoring programs as well as leadership design programs
  • Manage position descriptions
  • Assist in the annual performance review and probation review programs
  • Conduct exit interviews with departing staff for continuous improvement opportunities
  • Manage employer branding initiatives alongside P&C and BD team
  • Assist in the administering and review of annual engagement surveys
  • Manage first impression and L&D feedback surveys
  • Ensure company values and vision are implemented within the employee life cycle
  • Manage L&D reporting
  • Assist in the coordination and content development of company wide retreats
  • Manage succession planning and promotion pathway programs
  • Provide support to the P&C team across the full employment life cycle
  • Assisting in ad-hoc and project work as required by the P&C Manager


Essential Experience
  • Experienced and proven training facilitation experience
  • Strong instructional design and training program development experience
  • Understanding of effective L&D and OD programs
  • Experience in a professional services industry advantageous
  • Advanced computer and technical with Advanced – advance MS office knowledge
  • Experience in LMS platforms advantageous
  • Experience managing CPD programs
