With an outstanding reputation in the Data & AI tech space, our client is regarded by many as the industry leader within the region. Their off the shelf and customised solutions enable their customers to make better informed business decisions, whether it be assessing risk, lending suitability, identity management, fraudulent account activity etc. They realise value from internal and external data sources which helps to improve customer experience and overall business confidence. 

They are currently seeking a National Account Manager / BDM to join their high performance sales team in Melbourne. Emphasis is on new business development into an existing account portfolio of tier 1 and tier 2 enterprise customers, selling across a broad portfolio of products and services. A solution seller is paramount, someone with gravitas and senior (Exec/Partner) level credibility within the Professional Services market - Big 4, tier 1/2 legal and accounting firms.

Key responsibilities:

· Protect, retain and grow share of wallet within your customer base

· Net new business development, up-sell and cross-sell

· Identify business pain points using insights led approach

· Assess market opportunities

· Achievement of new business sales targets 

· Effective territory management

· Representation at industry events

· Internal and external key stakeholder management

· Development of strategic account plans

· Commercial and legal contractual negotiations – RFPI’s, RFI’s RFT’s etc

Key skills required:

· Extensive track record of sales achievement working in a solutions focused B2B environment – technology, banking, professional services ideally

· Proven new business hunting and relationship management skills

· Structured sales approach / methodology – formal training with a universally recognised accreditation e.g. SPIN, Sandler, Miller Heiman etc

· Expert at managing short and long sales cycles

· Experience of selling at CxO level down – business buyers/decision makers vs IT

· Gravitas and grit - steely determination

**Experience of selling Data, BI, fintech, trading platforms, fraud / risk / identity solutions, banking products (inc FX) or bureau services could be well suited to this type of role**
