The Opportunity

Due to continued growth, an exciting full-time permanent opportunity for a Talent Development & Acquisition Manager has become available within the Human Resources team at our office in Brisbane. Within this role there will be the opportunity to travel interstate and intrastate when required. Immediate start!

Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Manager, you will be responsible for designing and implementing programs to attract, measure, develop and manage SunPork’s talent pool across all business units. This includes programs covering the performance management life cycle, leadership development, employee engagement, talent management, succession planning, development planning, strategic sourcing as well as recruitment and selection.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Build an internal leadership development framework for the Sunpork Group meeting the needs of all BU’s targeting different leadership levels.
  • Continue to build on and implement the SunPork talent management and succession framework.
  • Establish a clear performance management life cycle framework and provide training, supporting material and guidance to the group.
  • Build a workforce planning strategy and implementing appropriate sourcing plans and agreements to implement the strategy.
  • Build on the SunPork Group employer brand and employee value proposition utilising appropriate sourcing platforms and relationships.
  • Lead employee engagement and benefit initiatives across the SunPork Group.

What We’re Looking For

We have established an efficient, highly skilled yet diversified team. As a key member you will ideally possess:

  • Significant experience or certifications in leadership development facilitation.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources (desirable).
  • Ability to assess a broad range of requirements across different business units and create learning solutions that are consistent in content and adaptable in implementation.
  • Ability to facilitate learning in an engaging way with people at all levels of the organisation.
  • Ability to influence individuals and teams at all levels of the organisation.
  • Ability to create and customise supporting material to reinforce learning outcomes.
  • Ability to coach and mentor senior leaders and managers in the organisation.
  • Ability to build relationships and negotiate contracts with external parties.
  • Exposure to and deep understanding of learning and development and strategic sourcing strategies.
