Event Programs Officer for a contract until December Part time 3 days a week in Melbourne CBD on a salary of $72,500 pro rata 3 days per week


The Company:

A well established association based in Melbourne who have an events, content and programs team are looking for a Event Programs Officer to join the team on a contract 3 days per week starting immediately until December 2021. The association works in a fabulous space and is a National Body.

The Role:

The Event Programs Officer will report into the Director of Events, Programs and Content and has come about as the team member who was in this role has been promoted within the Association. This role will be a key one within the team and will manage multiple virtual and online systems to assist the team in running their events and handling registrations.

Key responsibilities will include;

  • Managing registrations for all the events and reporting to the team updates and numbers regularly
  • Delegate communications ensuring they have the right links to log in prior to webinars, if they need to sort manual payments handling this and contact with delegates regularly about events
  • Handling the website for webinars and events and setting up the back end for registrations
  • Regularly reporting on all system requirements, updates to the senior team about how things are tracking and ensuring everything is on schedule
  • Working within the CRM Salesforce, handling pivot tables in reporting documentation
  • Managing and coordinating event logistics when required including venue management
  • Working with the PCO where applicable on events if required
  • Developing and maintaining strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Developing relationships with speakers and managing their travel requirements and schedules
  • Working with the partnership team to ensure partners requirements are met on events
The Candidate:

With a key focus on attention to detail, and systems savvy, the right candidate will want to work part time and be keen and eager and solutions driven. This is a very busy team and while you will get an amazing handover, this role will require you to be able to multitask and handle large workloads in the time you are there. Your will need to have strong ICT skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office and Salesforce or equivalent CRM.
