Exceptionally Rare Opportunity for a Highly Talented Customer Service Professional with Industry & SAP Experience - Great Co. & Working Environment

Our client is a global industry leader within the specialty chemical industry. They develop, produce and supply a diverse range of highly specialised materials, which are used as key components by the world's leading manufacturers; for example: Olefins, Polymers, Elastomers and Butadienes to name just a few from their extensive portfolio. Their products are categorised into 3 distinct business units: Nutrition & Care, Resource Efficiency & Performance Materials. Industries which use their products include but are not limited to: Food, Pharmaceutical, Agriculture, Personal Care, Coatings, Rubber & Plastics, Energy, Utilities, Construction, Mining etc.
This position will commence in an ongoing "casual employment" arrangement for up to 12 months and convert to permanent employment directly with our client, subject to performance and; timing of headcount approval from head office. An attractive hourly rate is on offer to ensure we secure the right skills and experience.
In this role, you will be supporting the Animal Nutrition Division of the business and are responsible for providing exceptional service delivery to ALL clients in the portfolio, across Australia & New Zealand. To be clear, DIFOTQ performance stands at 99.98% and is the minimum standard to be maintained. The Customer Service Roles with our client are nothing like a typical Call or Data centre environment. You own and manage the entire process for each client order, which includes and is not limited to: Checking Inventory for product availability, Order Acknowledgement, Expediting Orders from 3rd Party Warehouses, Ensuring FIFO Stock requirements are adhered to, customer specific requirements such as Custom Labels, Pallet Type, Pack Size etc. are clearly specified and proof obtained prior to shipping,. Co-ordinate transport pick-up and delivery times, advise client of delivery date, generate invoices on receipt of POD, effectively deal with client requests or issues and provide effective resolutions to the satisfaction of the client etc. You will be held to account for all aspects of the customer order fulfilment process. Internal training in company systems and processes is provided, however it is expected you will pick these up quickly to become a fully integrated and effective member of the CS team.
To be considered for this position, applicants will need to satisfy the following key selection criteria:
  • Possess FULL working rights in Australia as a Permanent Resident OR Australian Citizen
  • Ideally, have previous experience in a customer service role within the specialty chemical industry of at least 2 years
  • MUST have experience working with and using SAP for placing orders and checking on Stock Availability via CM and WM modules
  • Possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the proven ability to develop strong and effective working relationships with Customers, Internal Staff and External Contractors e.g. Transport Providers, 3rd Party Warehousing and Customs Clearance Agents etc.
  • Be highly organised, with the ability to effectively manage and problem solve competing customer priorities/requirements
  • Possess an amiable disposition, be cool and calm under pressure or when dealing with difficult situations and focus on solving the issues at hand systematically
  • Have a "Can-Do" attitude, be flexible and adaptable to ensure the delivery of the highest standards of customer service to the customer
