An exciting opportunity for a leader within an expanding business.

Our client is a leading national cargo restraint supplier to the transport industry nationwide and require a Branch Manager for the Dandenong operation.
We are looking for a leader with exceptional commercial sales skills and someone that has a great personality with a strong business acumen. The successful applicant will be responsible in key areas of business growth such as, prospecting of new, ongoing maintenance and visiting of existing clients and new accounts as required. Manage staffing requirements, warehouse and internal sales communications and workflow.

Key responsibilities and duties include but not limited to:

  • Management of Dandenong Branch’s successful achievement of budget as set by LRS Executive team
  • Inclusive of revenue, GP and EBITDA targets
  • Management of Dandenong staff within all relevant appropriate company policy and applicable legislation
  • Responsible for continual improvement and increases in branch efficiency and productivity.
  • Responsibility for meeting client and supplier milestones and target dates both internal or imposed.
  • Perform daily sales tasks in branch-counter selling, order processing, communicating with clients via phone, email etc, assisting warehouse and production as required.
  • Estimate date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of our production and delivery schedules.
  • Inform Sales Department of new customer data and other sales data for input to computer database.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers.
  • Investigate, resolve and document customer issues in a prompt, professional manner.
  • Attend industry events.
  • Report to executive a weekly basis, detailing issues, sales results and achievements for the week and future planning.
  • Manage Customer Relationship Management system - Hubspot. (CRM). Ensuring both external and internal sales data is populated on a daily basis.
  • Manage weekly social media posts specific to Dandenong/South East territory.

Key Skills required
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
  • Highly motivated and a strong attention to detail
  • Strong analytical capability and general understanding of Finance
  • Strong computer skills across all applicable work related applications
  • Experienced user of MS office Suite. Outlook,Excel, Word, TEAMS
  • Experience use of MYOB an advantage.
  • Be able to work autonomously.
  • Self starter, willing to get hands dirty.
