Marketing Manager for an Events Agency in Sydney, permanent role based in North Sydney on a salary of $75,000 - $80,000 plus super


The Company:

A brilliant conference, summit and B2B events agency based in North Sydney are looking for a Marketing Manager to join their team permanently. The company puts together sensational conferences, summits and events and have a great core team that is growing at this time.

The Role:

The Marketing Manager role reports into the Managing Director of the business and is responsible for the marketing of all of the events as well as handling stakeholders and the print, media and online requirements for the events. You will be looking after everything from the marketing strategy through to the delivery in this role.

Key responsibilities will include;

  • Managing all aspects of print and online media for the conferences, summits and events
  • Handling the social media accounts for each of the events
  • Developing key relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Database management and list selection
  • Oversee brochure, flyer, website design, print ads
  • PR and press releases
  • Book ads in publications/newspapers
  • Managing the advertising budget and requirements for the events
  • Managing the websites and ensuring the content meets the standard required
  • Managing Hubspot Marketing CRM system and requirements
The Candidate:

With a passion for marketing and social media, you will have worked within events before and have a marketing background. Experience with Hubspot seen as a bonus for this role, but systems and CRM experience previously is required.
  • Experience in marketing and social media within events
  • Demonstrated knowledge of print and online media
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Hubspot preferred
  • Experience in developing and managing professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment
  • Experience in graphic design preferred but not essential
  • Disciplined time management and project management skills are essential
  • Outstanding copy writing ability
