About The Role

Role Location- 839 Collins Street, Docklands VIC 3008

Role Type- 24 Month Fixed Term

As an Enhanced Customer Due Diligence (ECDD) Workstream Lead, you will work to improve the approach to AML and Sanctions Operational processes, including Enhanced Customer Due Diligence, PEP Management, Record Keeping and Investigator training. This may also include management of external parties where appropriate.

You will work closely with multiple stakeholders to plan for and deliver compliance outcomes, manage project risks, issues and budgets, drive high performance delivery, engage stakeholders and lead a highly-engaged team.

In this role, you will be accountable for-
  • Planning, prioritization and project management - Developing and maintaining project plans/schedules, effectively prioritizing the allocation of resources to ensure effective and efficient delivery and managing project budget, risks, issues and dependencies
  • People management - Providing leadership and effective management
  • Stakeholder engagement - Ensuring the close engagement of project stakeholders across FCP, Divisions and project sponsors/senior staff. This includes the preparation of information for senior Committee reporting.
  • Change management - Effectively delivering change to embed project outputs into ANZ and achieve Accord’s compliance objectives.

About You

This role would suit a financial crime subject matter with strong experience in operations, organized, effective leader with experience in project delivery, people management and risk and compliance.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following-
  • Strong experience in financial crime, team management and change management with a preferable focus on operations processes and procedures.
  • Curious and constantly exploring innovations, industry/environmental changes. Comfortable to make change and experiment with new approaches
  • Comfortable to ‘roll up the sleeves’ and work hands-on, collaboratively with passion and energy as a key member of a fast-paced agile team
  • Appropriate university degree supported by strong practical application of knowledge in the banking / financial industry
  • Experience with Business Change programs, project management disciplines, continuous improvement and agile methodologies
  • Analytical, strong ability to influence without direct authority and demonstrated learning agility to digest complex and large information sets to draw insights, conclusions and actions
