We are looking for a Senior Branch Manager for our Rockhampton based Branch to lead a team of frontline staff as well as Lending Managers for the area, to provide service excellence to our customers and drive the region’s revenue and growth.

This role is key to the success of the Capricorn Region and will support and coach a highly motivated team to build a customer centric culture within the branch.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver effective customer management, retention and satisfaction advocacy within your business area and region
  • Manage FTE and Workforce Planning requirements within the Branch to meet customer demand and leave management
  • Lead a motivated and engaged team of lenders and senior consultants to achieve their individual and branch results
  • Demonstrate a risk management culture through behaviours, discussions and interactions with employees and customers and operate responsibly within the parameters of your delegations
  • Manage the financial drivers for the branch as well as the operational controls (rostering, resourcing, credit quality, complaints resolution)
  • Ensure standards of customer service in the branch are delivered to understand and meet the needs of our customer’s financial services needs
  • Implement and embed a digital mindset within your team that enables education of customers an ensure digital leads assigned to the Branch are managed effectively
  • Review trends both within the Branch and the Region regarding changes in customer needs and technology advancements to deliver best-practice outcomes
  • Manage cost targets and budgets as agreed

Skills & Experience
  • Experience leading a team within Financial Services, Banking or Insurance
  • Home Lending experience and proven experience managing Lenders as direct reports
  • Home Lending knowledge with the ability to exercise a credit authority
  • Demonstrated experience in creating a highly motivated and focused team
  • Demonstrated experience managing Frontline Compliance Risks
