Our client is a leading company in their industry, and currently experiencing strong growth in the Australian business. They are looking for an experience FP&A Manager to help enable further growth through the provision of high level analysis and modelling.

Client Details

Our client is a global organisation who have grown their local presence through an inorganic growth strategy, making it necessary to integrate mature businesses with new and innovative product lines. To be able to achieve this successfully, our client needs an experienced FP&A Manager to provide accurate and insightful financial information to the sales force and clients alike.


Reporting to the CFO, You rain focus is to oversee the internal management reporting and analytics function of the local business. You will manage a team of Accountants and Analysts and support senior stakeholders across several business lines. Your role will have several direct responsibilities, including;

  • Preparation of three-way budgets and forecasts for the entire Australian business
  • Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual reports and business reviews
  • Involvement in annual planning and long term strategic planning
  • Presentation of results to department heads and the Board of Directors, whilst providing insights and commentary,
  • Partner with departments to drive profitable growth of all business units
  • Detailed analysis of market / product trends to assist with decision making
  • Preparation of new business proposals, tenders
  • Involvement in strategic growth initiatives, including mergers, acquisitions, divestment's and New product development, and any significant opex/ capex proposals.


The successful candidate will come from a corporate background in large and complex organisations, preferably publicly listed businesses with many and varied operational business units. A strong technical accounting background and business partnering skills are highly sought after, which can be developed in a chartered accounting environment, and complimented with experience in commerce and industry. Other desired skills include;

  • CA / CPA qualifications
  • Strong technical accounting skill-set
  • Advanced modelling skills and prior experience in an FP&A role
  • An engaging person who can liaise with senior stakeholders
  • The ability to present complex information to senior leadership team and the gravitas to influence stakeholders.
  • The ability to supervise a senior finance team and develop their skills and further careers.
