About The Company:
Eurofurn is an award-winning family business with a long history of manufacturing high quality furniture and joinery, over four generations. Combining the craftsmanship of yesteryear with world class technology and equipment, our blue-chip clients include Star Casino, The Normanby Hotel, Fortitude Valley Music Hall, Stuartholme School and the Anglican Church Grammar School, to name just a few. Yet it is our people that make the real difference. People like Delia who started with us as a cadet in 2012 and is now Office Manager. We currently employ 30+ people and we’ve also won several employer awards such as Host Employer Of The Year and The Female In-Trades Award (East Coast Apprentices). Our long-term goal is to be the go-to manufacturer of all leading high-profile projects and developments in Australia.

About The Role:
Reporting directly to the Office Manager, you will be responsible for supporting Eurofurn’s business administrative services. You are a hard-working, multi-tasker with a great eye for detail and you work with the Office Manager and the accountant to streamline our business administration processes and achieve successful outcomes.

A typical day might involve working with the sales team to ensure accuracy of production and purchasing documentation; invoicing customers and taking phone calls; uploading data to Xero; following up supplier orders; data entry of costs and labour allocations or ensuring the end of month process is timely and accurate. As a manufacturing business, we have 10-20 deliveries a day, so you’ll be responsible for receiving goods and then reconciling those receipts in the project software.

Because we work with blue-chip clients to tight deadlines, you’ll be someone who can juggle several tasks at once, and be comfortable working under time pressure. We’ll also rely on you for some more general tasks such as helping to arrange work outings, stocking up our kitchen supplies or just making the CEO a cup of tea.

In essence we are looking for an administrative whiz who can use their skills to support our drafting, sales and production teams, so that we can focus on what we do best - delivering custom-made, innovative furniture on time and on budget.

As an employer we pride ourselves on our positive corporate culture and encourage applications from a diverse range of candidates. You may be a young, hard worker with an eye for detail looking to grow your skills in business administration. You may be an administrative achiever in an existing role and looking to transfer to a more dynamic company. Or you might be a mother who has worked in administration in the past looking to return to work somewhere that will appreciate your talent. Regardless of circumstances, this is a fantastic opportunity for those who have excelled in the past and are looking for a satisfying role in a company at the forefront of its industry.

To Be Successful In This Role You Need:
Demonstrated past experience and achievement in some kind of administrative role preferred.
Excellent administrative skills, including experience in using IT systems to achieve effective business outcomes, on time and on schedule. Systems we currently use are Xero accounting, Manager, Outlook and Adobe so experience in these advantageous.
Demonstrated achievement in reaching targeted time-frames and prioritizing under pressure.
A demonstrated ability to effectively deal with clients, to deliver effective results.
A demonstrated ability to work autonomously, and collaboratively with a team, to achieve successful outcomes.
Developed and maintained positive relationships with colleagues and clients in past roles.
A demonstrated commitment to continual improvement, innovation and learning.
