Do you have a background in executive support and project management? Are you passionate about partnering with stakeholders to support the development and implementation of new and existing strategic initiatives?

As an Executive Support / Project Officer (Associate Dean Portfolios), you will play a critical role in the provision of high-level executive and project management support to the Associate Dean portfolios of the Faculty of Health, Engineering and Sciences. In this key role you will:

Work closely with the Associate Dean’s and Operational Support Manager to plan and organise competing tasks and deadlines and develop and maintain project plans with milestone deliverables.
Collate and critically analyse a range of data and information from multiples sources to inform decision making and project direction.
Formulate and prepare proposals, recommendations, submissions and briefing papers on strategies, plans, policies and practice as they relate to support for the Associate Dean Portfolios.
Provide high level executive, policy, strategy and management support to stakeholders including quality research on relevant issues and trends.
What will you need to succeed?

Relevant tertiary qualifications with extensive experience and management expertise in a service delivery and/or project management environment.
Demonstrated ability to analyse data and research and prepare reports, briefing papers and other complex documentation.
Strong organisational and communication skills including the ability to engage effectively with a range of stakeholders.
Experience in providing leadership and supervision in order to motivate, develop and empower staff to achieve excellence in work performance and client service.

Please note, appointment will be made to the title of Coordinating Operational Support Officer.

One appointment will be made at the USQ Ipswich campus providing support to the Associate Dean (Clinical) and Associate Dean (Research). A second appointment will be made at the USQ Toowoomba campus providing support to the Associate Dean (Teaching, Learning and Student Success) and the Associate Dean (Academic).

Salary: Total remuneration range $102,809 to $113,683 pa (includes salary range of $86,871 to $96,059 pa, employer super contributions of 17% and annual leave loading)
