About The Role

As our Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Manager, you will be joining a market-leading Corporate Finance team here at BDO Perth. As a practice, we offer full-service Corporate Finance, from Lead Advisory Mergers & Acquisitions to Transaction Services, Valuations & Financial Modelling.

To Be Successful In This Position, You Will Need

  • Extensive experience in Strategy Consultancy, Financial Analytics, or a Mergers & Acquisitions role
  • A self-starter attitude with a burning desire to evolve into a highly capable M&A professional
  • The ability to think strategically, considering your client’s objectives and desired outcomes
  • Understand key deal legal documentation and a capability to offer an informed view on key commercial elements
  • The ability to execute on complex and time-sensitive client engagements, including preparing pitch documents and information memorandums
  • Experience in building 3-way financial models, preparing market appraisals, valuations, and comprehensive industry/company research
  • Experience preparing high-quality internal documents & presentations
  • Contribute to the management and training of the M&A team by sharing information and creating a learning environment for junior members
  • Confidence in conversing with clients and business executives via a range of channels

The Required Qualifications
  • CA and/or CFA qualifications, complete or on the path to completion
  • Master of Business Administration, complete or on the path to completion
  • Demonstrated ongoing personal and professional development
