JOB DESCRIPTION

We are a premium food service logistics business servicing some of Australia's iconic leading brands for over 5 years.

Operating 24 hours a day, 7 days per week, we deliver our customers an unparalleled offering in the market.

We require an experienced Operations Supervisor to join our team to assist lead the business operationally.

This is a hands on role. As a small business, the expectation is that we as the leaders of the business truly stand side by side with our team members. Our organisational chart is very flat.

This is a full time role, with excellent salary negotiated for the successful applicant.

Must be willing to work early in the morning (1-2am), and one day on the weekend. The starts are early as are the finishes. Expect 40 hours across 6 days per week.

Job tasks and responsibilities

Reporting to the Operations Manager, your role will include responsibilities in the following areas

People Management- both Customers, Suppliers and Sub Contractors.

Managing the onsite supervisors to deliver a premium service and uphold the values that we pride ourselves on.

Key account management and customer service.

HACCP- management and improving the system

Day to day operations including daily routing of resources

Driver management and training to our existing team

Recruitment/training- working toward fleet goal targets for upcoming contracts.

Inbound calls from customers via telephone

Email workflow with requests and issues.

Sub contractor driver audits

Fleet administration/management

Skills and experience

Ideally, you will have experience in a supervisory or management role in either the transport logistics field, or the food service industry, however someone with driving experience looking to take the next step in their career would also be highly considered

Exposure to HACCP preferred. Also exposure to the inner workings of the food industry, whether that be experience as a chef or support function to the restaurant and cafe markets is viewed favourably.

You must have an Australian license, and also be able to drive manual large vehicles under 4.5t GVM.
