Perth Pain is a boutique specialist practice in the exciting field of pain medicine, where we aim to reduce pain and suffering for our patients through medical care delivered with empathy and a whole-person approach.

Job description

This position will support a busy medical specialist in the day to day operation of the private practice over two sites in Nedlands and Murdoch, supporting his patients and representing his caring and patient centered approach. This is a permanent full time role, weekdays working hours. Available to commence in 2 weeks or earlier.

Specific duties will include:

  • Answering phone calls, email and other enquiries
  • Organisation of patient referrals and booking
  • In-person admin support during clinic sessions
  • Payments and invoicing
  • Liaison with hospitals/other health services
  • PA and office admin duties

Strong work ethic is essential in this role. The ideal candidate for this role would have:

  • Prior experience in medical reception is essential (experience in specialist medical reception is preferred)
  • Experience in Genie medical administration software and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent, clear communication skills
  • Excellent organisation skills and an eye for detail
  • Empathetic, patient focused attitude
