About the Opportunity

Due to an exciting period of growth, White Oak now has multiple opportunities for Experienced and Multi-Skilled Community Support Workers to work in a variety of locations within a 25km radius of the Perth metro region. 

As a Community Support Worker, you will be responsible for the provision of quality personal care to meet the social, physical, psychosocial, spiritual, cultural and emotional needs of consumer/individuals.

Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Provide high quality care and services to consumer/individuals within the community;
  • Promote and maintain independence thus enhancing quality of life;
  • To provide direct and indirect care utilising best practice approaches and support services to improve and maintain their quality of life;
  • Assist consumer/individuals to participate in community life;
  • In home assistance of domestic chores in such a way to maintain the consumer/individuals capacity to manage everyday activities; and
  • Provide transport support to enable the consumer/individual to access community and social activities and/or medical and specialist appointments.

Please note: Applicants must have a recent National Police Check and NDIS Worker screener check prior to commencement.

About You

The successful candidate will have a relevant qualification such as a Certificate lll in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability or Community Services and hold a NDIS Worker Screening Check or being willing to complete this check. Demonstrated working experience is desirable.

As the role requires the ability to deliver Home-Care services, you will have a valid Australian Drivers license and a safe, well maintained vehicle, that you are willing to use for work purposes. The successful candidate will have high level social skills, the ability to show empathy and treat clients as you would your own family.
