  • Supportive multidisciplinary team

    The Role
    In this full time permanent role based at Epworth Rehabilitation Richmond, you will be primarily responsible for an inpatient orthopaedic caseload with opportunity to see persistent pain & neurology patients. Additionally there may be scope to increase experience by working across other clinical areas at our other locations. You will be part of the Occupational Therapy team and report to Deputy Manager of Occupational Therapy.

    You will make an impact by-

    • Providing best practice Occupational Therapy to rehabilitation patients
    • Working collegiately with your OT colleagues and the multidisciplinary team
    • Taking responsibilty for a departmental portfolio
    • Contributing to quality improvement
    • Participating in student supervision
    To be successful in this role…
    You will be able to demonstrate that you are compassionate, approachable, resilient and able to adapt to change with little notice. By nature you will a true team player and be able to positively contirbute to the Occupational Therapy team and multidisciplinary team.

    You will have:

    • Relevant hospital experience as an Occupational Therapist or as a student
    • Current full AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
    • A Victorian drivers license and willingness to drive in metro Melbourne with patients in the car
    • Experience working with private health insurers, TAC, VWA & DVA is desirable but not essential
