  • The role of the Line 1 Risk and Compliance Team is to drive and support initiatives across the business that enable risks and compliance obligations to be appropriately managed
  • The purpose of this position is to drive effective and efficient audit outcomes. You will be the point of contact for Mercer and external auditors in delivering financial statement and internal audit activity

We will count on you to:

  • Maintain effective relationships with Auditors
  • Manage and oversight of the delivery of Mercer’s annual GS007 internal controls audit, including planning, maintenance of the GS007 Controls Report document, document requests, issue validation, finalization of management plans, and reporting to clients
  • Manage and oversight of the delivery of Trustee clients internal and external audit activity
  • Operational risk and control projects across Commercial Operations

What you need to have:

  • Ideally a minimum of 4 years’ experience in a financial services organisation
  • Proven ability to manage stakeholders to effectively deliver results that are specific and measurable
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation and facilitation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong ability to synthesize various sources of data to derive insights and formulate recommendations
  • Structured thinking and ability to decompose problems

What makes you stand out:

  • Experience in risk management, internal controls and audit methodologies preferred
