Full Job Description
Our client, a local council based in the Outer Eastern Suburbs requires a suitably qualified Contact Centre Officer to work within their Corporate Affairs department on a casual basis (minimum of 20 hours per week, but could be up to 38), until late January 2020. Days required will vary from week to week.

Reporting into the Contact Centre Team Leader, you will be required to provide customer focussed support to both internal and external customers, either by phone call, web based or written enquiries. Being the first point of contact, you will ensure you can utilise relevant resources, social media platforms and various departments in order to fulfil and resolve all customer queries.

You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to show resilience and empathy, by taking responsibility to resolve issues. You will demonstrate your customer service experience and show your effective time management and decision making skills.You will be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and technologically savvy.

You will be required to work over school holidays, Christmas and into January 2020, although the contact centre is closed public holidays.
